I agree that as a sandbox experience it's better, but as a questing RPG I find it a little lightweight compared to Oblivion. Also I prefer the greater scenic variation in Cyrodil.
Of those listed, the original Mario game but howay, where's the likes of Tetris, the original Call of Duty, Command and Conquer, the original Tomb Raider? Most of the games on the list wouldn't be here if it wasn't for some of those. Sorry, nearly forgot Candy Crush Saga and Angry Birds
I'd toss in some old n64 favourites. Super Smash Brothers, Mario Kart 64,, Mario 64, basically and of the n64 Kirby series. These are all pretty high on my list for replay value and fun. Graphics be damned!
Command and conquer red alert ! That would be my choice but from that list I went mgs. I like the sound of skyrim but never played it yet, looking at getting a cheap second hand copy soon though.
Yeah, but if you get frisky with Tali you could kill her. Damn her allergic reactions. Plus, EDI has the best sense of humour in the game . That said: Tali >>>>>>>>>>> Liara >>>>>>>>> Ashley & EDI.
I voted Goldeneye 64. Because it was the bomb. No other game before or after had the kind of impact or multiplayer fun that Goldeneye had. Tekken Tag Tournament came close. Also, Zelda: Ocarina of Time >>>>>>>>>>> all.
Hard one to call personally. Morrowind I loved but it had its flaws, Oblivion had that wow factor when you were first exposed to it, same with Skyrim and I ended up putting hundreds of hours into both. I also have a lot of love for the Baldurs Gates series and Star wars: Knights of the old republic. I have heard many great things about Torment: Planescape, I have heard it called one of the best RPG's on the PC, I am waiting for it to go on sale on Steam/Gog.
I saved her in my very first playthrough. Then for the next 8 playthroughs or something crazy I didn't save her again. Last time I played it, saved her again. Wondered why the hell I rescued her over Kaidan.
San Andreas was better. If "gorgeous ocean with depth of a puddle" accurately describes Skyrim it goes triple for V.
You left out battlefield 2. I lost weeks of my life to that game. Voted for goldeneye though. Incredible
My friend has that game and all he does is drive the bus, we have about an 80 man unit though Called the KIllas.
Dwarf fortress should be on here. It's not the best game ever, but it's the most something game ever. God I love dwarf fortress.
