    To All:

I'm doing some research regrading the ancient Filipino script Baybayin. I came across a site that has an english to Baybayin translation program, but it's inconsistent with some other examples of the sript i've found.

    Here's the link: http://www.eaglescorner.com/baybayin/baybayin.html

If anyone knows how to read Baybayin, I would appreciate some input on the site.

    Gumagalang,

actually, all the major dilects have thier own alibata/ baybayin scripts. it's not like chinese that the scripts are uniform. there are similarities but they aren't the same. add to that, the fact that the pre-colonial philippines was more a loose collection of different tribes than a unified nation (only the muslims in the south were some what unified). add to that the fact that the friars tried to monkey around with the luzon alibatas. it's really confusing. i guess it would depend on what dialect you'd be using as basis.
