Best film soundtrack ever? Gotta be up there I think. [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1_xgecR0ifo"]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1_xgecR0ifo[/ame]
It's only available on vinyl. It seems to have been released by a Finnish label, I guess it's a boot. Everything by John Carpenter. Nah. I was gonna, but that's was done by Morricone and I was posting music composed by Carpenter (with others maybe), not just his film's theme music. Morricone and The Thing soundtrack is awesome though. Edit: According to the interweb it was Carpenter and Morricone, but Carpenter was uncredited. What an odd thing to do!
Flamenco - Fire and Grace A compilation of some of the best newer flamenco Guitarists from Narada Productions. Features Miguel De La Bastide, Tomatito, Jessie Cook. OLE!

Everclear was definitely one of the better bands of that time, somewhat underrated I feel. That was a real cool period of music. Rancid was another popular band from that that time also.

The Fixx - Ink 6th cd from these guys, the first one that was not very popular. How much is enough was the only real hit, pretty good cd though. Fleetwood Mac - The Peter Green Years. Recorded live in 1970. These guys were originally a blues band before Buckingham/Knicks joined. Live Gems, Black Magic Woman, Oh Well, Green Manaluschi, Rattlesnake Shake

Oh man, I love Maggot Brain so much. Hard to remember it was '71. Amazing what LSD can do to a barber shop choir leader! I saw George Clinton a few years ago at Glastonbury festival. Still one of the most amazing experiences of my life. My friend and I were joking that he'd open with Maggot Brain, thinking he'd only play the upbeat tunes... but he did open with Maggot Brain! Plus he learnt the guitar solo himself shortly after Eddie Hazel died. Amazing. Going to see him again in April
