Good evening and Happy New Year. As 2016 draws to a close, I find myself looking forward to my dojo' annual spirit training. Every January 1st, my instructor leads a New Years"spirit training". Basically, it's a polar bear swim that involves martial arts training. We are joined by other members of the local martial arts community. A good time is had by all. It's a great way to kick off the new year, and it sure cures a hangover! Does anyone else have a similar tradition?
Unfortunately, I blew a tire on the way to Spirit Training last year. Although I have since replaced the tires on my car, the battery seems a bit weak as of late. I'm hoping it will hold out. I'd hate to miss this two years in a row due to car issues!
I made it! It was a great time! We had a great turnout from the local martial arts community. Nearly twenty in the water with a couple hundred spectators. Afterwards, we all went for brunch.
It seems to have been rectified. Thank you, Saz. One of the images won't post because it's too big. I'm not really sure how to check the size. Sorry, but I'm clearly not very technologically inclined.
