I recently became aware of this:- https://youtu.be/UV408T_GiIc Whilst my thoughts on the video were less than favourable, I won't comment further on the actual system as I have no knowledge of it's contents. Trying to find out more lead me to it's creator, however, the only information I can is the information on his own websites. He makes various claims, but does not provide any further details to allow these claims to be verified. That doesn't mean his claims are false of course, it just means I can't find anything to corroborate his claims. These credits include:- 3 DECADES INTERNATIONAL MMA EXPERIENCE TV SERIES: 'ULTIMATE WARRIORS' MMA EXPERT WORLD KUNG FU CHAMPIONS I'm not even sure International MMA competitions have even existed for three decades as UFC 1 (which lead to the creation of what we call MMA only happeneed 22 years ago) I can't find any details on TV show called Ultimate Warriors No Association names or dates listed for his Kung Fu World Championship His clients are listed as: US Marine Corp NYPD Special Uints US Air Marshall I'm not sure why US Military/Law Enforcement would employ someone from the UK who presumably knows nothing about firearms. (Companies which he has crated are registered in Milton Keynes), surely there are plenty of competent people in the US they could turn to? So basically my question is does anyone have any other information about Mr Brooker?
Have you seen the green fist tool they've developed? Looks like something from a Soho sex shop! I'm skeptical of anything involving kids applying wrist locks on adults. Hell I'm skeptical of anything involving ADULTS applying wrist locks on adults!
Although I agree that his claims are very dodgy, there was NHB, Vale Tudo, Shooto etc waaaaay before the UFC....not that Brooker was out in Rio or Tokyo rucking in the ring. That video is hilarious. I love the way a tiny little fella can just push away an adult about 4 times their bodyweight. I guess you just have to cultivate your chi powers.
You should check the youtube channel, it has an obviously fake (and hilarious) attempted abduction video.
Rebranded jjj from what I can see. Downright irresponsible to try and sell the idea of a 6 year old being able to fight off a grown man, let alone what looks like a 6'2'' 230lbs power lifter. Shame.
I like (don't like) the bit where it says "takes the techniques of mixed martial arts" over a picture of a clothing grab. Something that doesn't happen in mixed martial arts. But then if you need to market something you gotta have MMA in there somewhere right?
It's not fake as a local MA club in my area signed up to it and they are teaching the classes. There's also a new report here:- http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/news/13875688.display/
What? I am talking about this (video below) which in the description says, "Possible abduction stopped by the Children's Protector System". [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Swem_3F0YRI"]CCTV Video 2nd - YouTube[/ame]
Greg1075's Child Protector System: If an adult tries to drag you away from your oblivious mom, scream at the top of your lungs, kid.
That video trying to promote some dodgy martial arts system is one of the most horrendous things I've seen in martial arts. Fake pretending to be real of the worst order. Horrible.
When I first saw the video I thought that it is so obviously fake that anyone watching it to check out the system and possibly enrol their children in the school would pick up on it and realise that Brooker is possibly a bit of a charlatan. The I remembered a very disturbing fact....Their's people out their much more stupid than I ma. That keeps me awake at night.
I think it's because it's trying to deal with child abduction that it's so offensive. We've all obviously seen dodgy self defence and martial arts charlatans before but trying to leverage parents fear of their child being abducted really is beyond the pale.
The idea of scaring someone into taking training is a bit iffy, although to be honest there is (much lesser) an element of that in my SD marketing....however, to actually FAKE something and present as the real deal is several steps beyond iffy and well into the "I hope you burn in Tartarus you worthless crapbag"
