I didn't see an answer in the judo resource(s) sticky, sorry if this has been done.

My question is, is there a Judo throw "bible" of sorts? Ie, does something come to mind in terms of a/the best book for learning judo throw techniques. I understand no book will teach like instruction/practice, blah blah, I take bjj and we work judo throws periodically, I just would like to supplement in down time, bathroom time, etc., some details on the basic throw techniques to think about and try to perfect them when practicing.

the A-Z of Judo by Syd Hoare is also invaluable i have found.

I use both of them, the A-Z of Judo is a great quick reference guide but Kodokan Judo is the best in terms of describing the techniques.

Or a more up-to-date bible on throwing techniques - Kodokan Judo: Throwing Techniques by Toshiro Daigo 9th dan, ex-CI of the kodokan. Much better photgraphs and step-by-step descriptions than Kano's or Mifune's classic books.
