    Another VS thread, LOL!
But this time it proves that VS threads are crap.

That's a badass zebra trying to drown a lioness! Incredible! Look at the face of the lioness after, lol!

I think so -- the sound on the video was kind of patchy, but I thought I heard the announcer refer to the zebra as a "stallion".

Poor lioness. But she will hunt another day.
Lucky zebra. But he will be eaten another day. :D

The zebra was a 'Grants Northern Plains Stallion' or 'Equus Burchelli Boehmi'. I believe that the zebra was actually the 'alpha male', because he stayed at the back of the group when the lioness was attacking, which is usually only a job for the alpha-male, hence the reason that they are known as the 'rear guard'.

Of course, that Zebra may not have been the rear guard, as I couldn't see much on the video, but that was what it looked like to me.

Oh, and yes, the zebra was a stallion, and not a mare. It's distinguishing feature is the fact that his lines were very distinguished, and the lines of the mare are not.

Sorry, completely useless information for you there, I know, but what the hell.
