I've done Ashtanga for about a year. It's really improved my flexibility and I sleep much better. There is 10 minutes meditation at the end of my classes. Seems to help my cardio as well though I don't feel exerted during it.

I try to keep my weight balanced on the 4 corners of the feet and contract my glutes and make my spine a long hollow (ribs down core drawn in) because my back was a pain in the past.

I'd recommend doing some pullups, single leg Romanian dead lifts and pistol squats to build the muscles not worked much though.

Hey man, anyone into yoga AND fighting should be able to appreciate Shaolin Qigong! :)

Try this from Youtube. It's not 1 video to do for 90 days. There are 90 different videos to do on each day for 90 days.

Go to youtube and check out her channel. I am on Day 7 now.
