Xbox 360 scam

There has been a scam going on at auction websites with people selling pictures of the Xbox 360!!

I've seen auctions for just the boxes as well.....

 

You always have to appreicate a clever griff. That is truely a work of genius.

I never thought about it, but when I see a big long description of what i'm buying, I never fully read it. Now I will. Guess I've learnt something today afterall.

Probably some guy in Nigeria's Idea. They are the kings of scams.

I have seen this sort of thing before for expensive watches and cameras. It's all very well us laughing and joking about it but imagine some old geezer shelling out to buy a console for their grandkids, or someone who has learning difficulties or mental ilness thinking they are getting a bargain. Not everyone is as fortunate as us. It's a con and we are lucky we can see it for what it is.

 

Damn right, the numbnuts who's doing this deserves to be spanked by the website host :woo:

A friend of mine just got back from Japan, they apparently are gathering dust over there on the shelves. Seems no one wants the beta versions they are selling.

 

i heard they over heat or something ???
