wrists while punching

    Not surprisingly I reference Jack Dempsey a lot.

    As I recall, the short ranged hook was defined by the bend at the elbow between the forearm and upper arm being 90 degrees or less. Any larger angle was not a short ranged hook.

    Most importantly, keep your wrists ALIGNED with your forearm. If there is a curve at your palm/top of your hand where your wrist is, you need to realign your fists with the wrest of your arm. If you shadow box, watch yourself from the side. Throw a cross and see if your arm is straight. Not the punch itself or the direction, but your arm.

    Idk if anyone recommended this. I'm too lazy to read.
