I'm trying to track down what the individual membership fees may be for Word Kido Association (In Sun Seo's group).

    Any body have any clues?

I don't know for sure, but the e-mail address on this page (http://hmjhapkido.or.kr/html/english.php) is a good contact

Why join their group even? That is kuksul. Kidohae is now run by hapkido people right?

GM Seo In-sun's Hanminjok Association covers quite a wide band of Korean arts - originally it was set up to assist non-Taekwondo Korean Martial Arts, including Hapkido and Hapkido-derivatives. They tend to be a very responsive group and provide seminars and such to their members. They have services available outside of Korea (in English) as well http://worldkidofederation.com/

As for the Kidohae...I don't have a clue who is running it or what they offer. Looking at their site, I don't see any indication who is in charge or what they do outside of Korea... http://www.kidohae.or.kr/main.php

If I recall, the Hanminjok Hapkido Association was set up in 2003, shortly after GMN Seo In-sun left the Kidohae (he was chairman from 1983-2002).

My roots are in Kuk Sool, and while I can't train Kuk Sool at the moment, there are other Hapkido options available to me. The arts are closely related, to say the least.

Eventually I would like to teach, and having an organization with some legitimacy is key to that, imo, for testing and dan ranking purposes.
