why is k-1 determined to showcase oddity fights? seriously, does anyone know? k-1 has some excellent fighters, but how many fatties and has-been boxers can they find?
Same reason that WWE still exists in the face of so many real fight organisations I refer you to Yoda's eloquent response!
k-1 max is still relatively "clean" except for some of the horrible judging decisions. I feel sorry for the real k-1 fighters who have to put up with it being a circus.
K1 is fun to watch, but that's about it. Once in a while when it's a good matchup the fight will be extremely interesting. When it's a 7 footer fighting a person half his weight though, that's another; it still gets ratings. Superleague is the one to watch.
Even though K-1 and Ufc were conceived in the World womb it seems that K-1 is feeding off of UFC's popularity. Tradition was its foundation but seems that even in Eastern Culture it can become tanted as quickly as the White house in the states
