This is a call an officer dreads, a mall shooting with an armed suspect. Its not uncommon if your live in a bad area. This area is actually not bad.

How does this translate into a good hand to hand combat intructor. Well most hand to hand combat instructors lack any backround that contains hand to hand combat. They have as much experience as the beginner.

 

Sorry mate but when most of a forums active population agrees your art is fake, useless and a waste of time/money you maybe want to consider comparing it to another genuine art

 

Its not as easy as attending 3 classes in a M.A.P. approved ma.
Ki Chuan Do is not first experience with MA. I already have a bb in another considered important enough by MAPers to have its own category here, TKD. I started that training at age 11 in 1988. Did 4 years of full contact in college. I have some experience in several others will be getting experience in some more. Ki Chuan Do is 1 stop along the way, mate. The classes come free with my gym membership so I have nothing to lose by taking them.

I am open to experimenting with other MA"s and have sone so. You your self admitted experimenting with other ma's than your main one. No difference here other than a few more years of such.

I am also not looking to win a popularity contest with people I don't know. Since I have attended the classes, I can question John Perkins in person and have him demonstrate his claims. I have already conceded the website sucks and the clips suck. John Perkins might be a self defense guru but he's no marketing guru. Here is the point, the people on this and other sites have arrived at this consensus only on limited information and have not made a well informed conclusion.
