Who do you want to see in the UFC?

Fedors the obvious one but I doubt if he'll ever sign.

    Me:

    1. Sergi Kharitodov I love his boxing skills, a true KO artist. He's already gone the distance with Nog and lost narrowly. And that was when Nog was considerably better than he is now IMHO. I think he'd be a great signing for the pretty weak HW division and a potential future champ.

    2. Paulo Fihlo He's got problems at the moment and he wasn't great in his last fight but just look at his record! I think he's got a decent chance against A.Silva, thats a fight I'd love to see.

    3. Takanori Gomi Constant debate about how good he is doesn't hide the fact he's got a 28-3 record. A rematch between him and BJ would be excelent although I'd def back BJ. Still alot of other LW I think he'd smoke and if BJ moves up in WW I think he's take the belt. I'd also love to see him KO Sherk!

    In no particular order:

    JZ- dude's fierce.

Gomi- when he brings his "A" game he's almost impossible to beat.

    Fedor- C'mon.

Kang, Lindland, F. Shamrock, Lawler- UFC needs MW's.

    Sergei's a good choice.

Little Nog- I wanna see a sub specialist at LHW, even though the division's crowded.

Minowa- just 'cause he's not quite right.

Wouldn't mind if Yves Edwards came back.

Trigg- he can fight at MW and WW. He's almost an afterthought, though.

Aoki- gotta love his grappling. Also a two-weight fighter.

Nick Diaz- I don't think he's that great, but he's got a cult fanbase.

Fujita- he's a heavyweight who likes to bang.

Carlos Newton- I can't help but think he's got enough in him for a couple more good fights. And once again, MW's missing some fighters. I see him as a gatekeeper.

Out of this there's only a handful who I want to see there 'cause I wanna see them face top guys. A lot of choices is about rounding out some of the divisions. MW and HW are so weak right now...

He's likely to move up to 205 and Silva, while he could certainly hold his own at 205, is very easily able to make weight at 185, so the matchup seems kind of unlikely, especially considering that they're friends and teammates, so they probably won't want to fight each other.

28-3 that would be 26-5 if he didn't get unfair treatment. I saw him get dominated by Marcus Aurelio only for the judges to LIE and steal the win from Maximus. And I also recall him getting gogoplata'd by Nick Diaz. I don't care if the judges are corrupt and I don't care if the NSAC used their magic eraser and erased Nick Diaz's win. Gomi has lost half of his last four fights, but not gotten credit for it.

Why would he go to the UFC when he can continue to pad his record elsewhere?

yeah, yeah, yeah, everyone wants to see Fedor.

My first pick is Cung Le. I want to see how he fares against some of the top fighters. I wanna see whether the dude really has the skills or not to be considered a top contender.

You know he fights at 145, right? And apparently walks around at about 153. Any size and strength advantage he has would disappear against guys like Sherk, T. Griffin, Guida, or even Penn and Din Thomas. I mean, he's a damn good grappler, but I think 145 is where he should stay.
