I think the no-gi wrestling is much more fun than the gi wrestling. Since you can't use "stiff arms" to hold your opponent away, there will be no dancing, a round can go much faster. IMO, it will be more closer to the real combat situation. It will be much easier to add punch and kick into it and makes it MMA in the future if you want to. You may have to find some replacement contact points for "pulling" since to pull on the Gi is not available.

In general, if you can use your left hand to control your opponent's right arm, you can use your right hand to push his upper body such as right shoulder, left shoulder, neck, face, chin, forehead, ... at the same time, and use your right leg to "hook" his

    - left leg from outside (1st side),
    - left leg from inside (2nd side),
    - right leg from inside (3rd side),
    - right leg from outside (4th side).

All 4 techniques can be executed in similar ways and also don't require Gi holding.

You want to be able to push and pull from each grip. That gives you more options. Here is how I use each grip.

-Head control: grab the back of his head (not neck, the head, its a stronger grip) and put your elbow on his chest for pushing.
-Overhook: pull on his arm and put the back of your hand on his chest for pushing.
-Underhook: grab his collarbone for pushing, and you can also pull with your arm on his back.

I love a sacrifice throw in Judo/BJJ/nogi, they're a great synthesis between takedowns and guard work.
