All this talk of thor this, superman that, jesus.. Buddah etc made my thoughts turn to booze..... What's your favourite tipple? Bizarrely one of mine is Jim beam black cherry with coke, which is a black cherry liqueur mixed with Jim beam, it hits the sweat spot of rediculously alcoholic, wierdly cheap, and also its a bit like pudding...... It's over to you!
Excellent choices, I've only had mead a few times, but it's always been good! For a more expensive drink talisker is excellent.
Mead (especially Blueberry Spaceship, a local thing) Scottish Whisky (there are several good ones) Hefeweizen beer (especially Pyramid) Pinot Grigio wine But champagne is the best.
Why do people drink? From my personal experience, I will get dizzy, feel sick, lose my alert, and can't control myself 100%. It's not a good feeling. Why do I want to put myself into that situation?
That’s probably because you drink too much..moderation in all things Unless it’s WWE Royal rumble in which case I am usually plastered halfway through
my favourite drinks are usually vodka. Mostly Chase vodka (British distillery) or Chopin. other than that I will occasionally have Brew dog IPA
"I wonder what pleasure men can take in making beasts of themselves." "I wonder, Madam," replied the Doctor, "that you have not penetration to see the strong inducement to this excess; for he who makes a beast of himself gets rid of the pain of being a man." - Anecdotes of the Revd. My own home made barrel-aged mead (two years old, made from my own honey) is a first but a limited first as there's only a small amount of it. A good whisky or whiskey in the evening is always a close second. Coors Light - not because it tastes good at all, but because it was the free beer after completing my first Spartan and I don't think anything will ever capture that feeling of 'I did it' quite so well. Also, YouKnowWho, alcohol tolerances vary widely, and increase and decrease with consumption, so it's not surprising that you're not a fan. it's not for everyone, I know many who do not like any alcoholic drinks. I also know people who hate sugary drinks (makes them sick). I have a friend who likes most alcoholic drinks, but one sip of tequila and he becomes very unwell.

Jeez, there's so many to choose from! I love cocktails, Manhattans, Negronis, and Gin based drinks re some of my most enjoyed. I like buttery Chardonnays from California. Sake is delicious, and nothing really beats an ice cold lager on a summer day.
Never had an alcoholic drink I tasted that made me want to ever taste it again. Nothing tastes better than a nice cold orange juice to me. At a push I'll have a lager shandy to be sociable as orange juice is too quick to drink when everyone else is on pints. Secretly I don't think anyone actually likes alcohol but pretends they do to appear cool or cultured. 99% of people couldn't blind taste the difference between a £5 bottle of plonk and a £150 bottle of vintage but like to tell themselves they can. As you can imagine...in Britain I'm somewhat of an outlier.
