I am fairly new to MA and Kickboxing (about a year) and have noticed there seem to be quite a few different organisations out there. Is there much difference between these organisations? Are the belts the same? Punches and kicks the same?

What organisation do you all train under?

I am in the PKA and am currently learning to become a coach.

many differences but none that matter

Politically there are many differences but at the end of the day these differences are all rubbish.
Just remember that a punch is a punch and a kick is a kick no matter who's colours and badge you wear.
Try and work with everyone and remain as non-political as possible. This way you will learn more and advance quicker.

Best of luck with your kickboxing career my friend.

We just had one last month but I couldn't make it due to family commitments. I also thought that as it would be at least another 6 mths before I get to that level that I'd take it next time around
