    title speaks for itself, seems like a good way to get accustomed to fighting in all ranges.

    Looks like Sport Jujitsu to me. There are 2 basic styles that I am aware of, JJIF (where there are no strikes once you clinch) and WCJJO (where you can strike in the clinch and on the floor). Controlled contact striking, plus throwing and subs, chokes etc on the floor.
    Personally (and I compete in WCJJO so I may be biased!) I think it is a great way of working multiple ranges without the wear and tear of MMA - I'd recommend it to grapplers who want to add striking and strikers that want to add grappling - first steps to MMA if you want it, a 'lite' version of MMA for those that don't want to train and fight full contact, and of course a sport in it's own right.
