Pearl Jam - Vitalogy These guys were part of the Seattle Grunge scene of the 90's but to me they just played good old Rock and Roll. This Cd is a band in it's prime. Better man, Not for you, Corduroy, Nothingman, Last exit.
Somehow I forgot all about this band! Ran across them on the Internet. They mix traditional Irish music into basic pop. They do great harmonizing, which I really like. I need to go buy some more of their albums! So nice to be reminded of them. Love this take on a Henrix song. They really add their own interpretation and it works.
Pillar - Where do we go from here Solid Cd from hard rockin' Christian band. Bring me down, Let it out, Frontline, One thing.
Dishwalla - Pet your friends Got this CD on the strength of the hit Counting Blue Cars. Seems like at the time a lot of rockers were dishing( no pun intended) Dishwalla. Don't know .. seems like a pretty solid CD to me, even all these years later. Pretty babies, Haze, Explo0de, All she can see.
Pink Floyd - A Tribute To Nobody does Floyd as well as Floyd...But these covers are pretty damn good. One thing about this tribute CD is that each track is performed by a collaboration of artists as opposed to a particular band. Money(Tommy Shaw, Mike Baird, Edgar Winter-playing a mean Sax), Run like hell(Dweezil Zappa, Tony Franklin, Ansley Dunbar), Another Brick in the wall( Fee Waybill, Mike Porcaro), Young Lust( Glen Hughes, Elliot Easton,)
