Last but not least, the COC (No that's not a typo and yes you need to get your mind out of the gutter!)

Some Coaches say if you're an athlete you shouldnt use straps, Dan John said something along the lines of "If you cant DL a certain weight without straps you got no business lifting it till your grip catches up to the rest of your body"

Now if you're training for hypertrophy/bodybuilding I think it's ok to use straps to crank out a couple more reps on pullups, DLs, Bent Rows, etc. imo

Couple of excercises for the wrists:
Knuckle Pushups (use one or two arms)
    Handstand Pushups on the knuckles
Pushups on the fingertips (try to go from 5 fingers down to one if you feel hardcore)
    Hitting the Heavybag
    Wrist curls
    Clubbell Excercises
    Sledge Hammer Training
    Arm Wrestling!

That's it for now, as you see there's hardly no need for any fancy equipment, dont be a dummy train your wrist and grip!

Feel free to add your own info on forearm/hand/grip training Ladies and Gents!

Yeah school is the antagonist to my fitness training. I'll be running track this year but due to.. No coaches wanting to start a cross country team and no kids that want to be in shape.. I'm not running CC this year. I've changed my routine to accommodate my schedule. I'll post it later and let you critique it. ;) The 3 mile probably isn't looking good because I haven't ran 3 miles in forever.. My pull up bar is sitting in a corner not doing anything because my family and I moved recently. But luckily I live VERY close to an elementary school with little jungle gyms for me to do pullups, dips, and muscle ups on. I'll post my w/o so you can check it. I haven't done crunches in a while either. I'm glad you reminded me.. I'll just post my w/o so you can critique and we can discuss my fitness in that thread. :D

    Semper Fi Sick!

ps. I know it is just googling things but instead of being to lazy to post all of this amazing fitness material, you take the time to share it with us. And I appreciate it!

Ya no problem man, I really dont mind. I figure if I can just help a single person, in whichever way, be it getting into shape, overcoming hardship, motivation, or anything else thats positive it was all worth it.

Chinese Boxing, and then later on weightlifting has helped me get over some pretty hard times, if it worked for me I'm sure others can benefit from it aswell.

Plus searching and posting all this info is helping me getting closer to my certification, so there's really no downside to it. Wither way my grammar and spelling suck monkeyballs, need to work on that too, if I want people to take me seriously...

I think you should consider a benchmark PFT, set aside an hour or so and do the damn thang to see where you stand and what you need to work on.

Very good job on the muscle up!(I'm not even close to completing one) Are you able to do them on any kind of bar and rings? If so your gonna be leaps and bounds ahead of the pack when it comes to running the obstacle course in Boot.

Do you have access to weights?

I've posted a new thread so we can discuss it there. :D I can do a couple of kipping muscle ups.. It's not all slow and controlled like a gymnast could do them though.
