It is a custom here in the states. So that you don't wind up with 5 blenders and 6 toasters. The couple registers at various different stores and then, as the items are purchased, they are taken off the register.
YARD SALE! Either that or you and Mei will spend hours returning things to get what you really wanted. Eh, just send me an email after you open all your gifts. I would at least like to send you all a card. And I if I could post myself (no jokes) I would.
Wedding lists can be made at most high street stores.... then you just tell people where your lists are, and they get you the things you want...
I haven't really thought about wedding gifts, we don't need anything Well we will but there's nowhere to put it at the moment!! I hope people keep reciepts
This one time, an ex-housemate sent two wedding gft lists out, one had crap that noone really wants as they already own it (plates, cutlery, bath towels etc.) and a second list which was sent to me consisting of plasma screen TV, DVD player, Cooker, Washing Machine, etc. etc. Absolute flaming cheek! I'll be getting you something not on the list Wonky...
Cool, I'll give you your birthday present while you're down! Saves a stamp Do you get commission Tom?
Bummer! BTW, one of your fellow staff members talked my head off when collecting a skateboard for my housemate. Going on about wheels, skate shops, my tattoos, the weather and the price of bread! Masses of people getting annoyed behind, I was like, yeah thanks k ta bye!!!! He seemed a bit nuts
Sounds to me like you went to the one in the middle of the city centre or on Newport Road! My one down the bay is so much better! (You did go to City centre or Newport Road, didn't you?)
Aye, City Centre! Keep forgetting about that one down the bay. I did get a big tent there a few years ago though I managed to break some zips off on the first night but they were nice enough to give me a new one!
Nobby you can't change your avatar! It's been the same for the last year at least! And it was the coolest!
