Weakness in hips

    Hi there,

    I have recently started kickboxing and just need help on few things. I would like to kick higher than i am at the moment but i guess through experience and constant training i will gradually increase my height in kicks. When i do a front snap kick my height is fine as for the side kick aswel. My problem is the round kick. I would like to kick higher than i am at the moment. Also when i try to hold my kick in the air i feel a weakness in my hips. On both legs. why is this? how can i strengthen this problem. It feels like a weakness which is telling me i need to lower my leg. Is there anything i could do to improve my height for the kicks and tackle this weaknes??
