i currently know very little about kempo, and am curious as to way it is so different from karate. i am very interested in what the style teachers and what the style emphasises on. would anybody kind enough be able to link me to a place that i can learn or tell me thankyou
Hmmmm....Kempo or Kenpo is not one easy to define style any more than Karate is. In brief, it tends to be more "Technique driven" than "Kata driven" the way Karate is. The responses tend to be based on more modern attack scenarios than traditional Karate is, and there tends to be more of an emphasis on flowing snapping movements than most traditional Karate has also. But these are generalizations and the particualr style of Kenpo/Kempo that you study will be more similar or different from traditional Karate depending.
