oh my god!!!! i'm like 95% sure i found spooky on another forum!!!!! hes called Spooky, lives in walsall, and talkin about swords. hmmmm http://www.kendo-world.com/forum/showthread.php?t=16000
It certainly is, and good luck to him on what he is doing, he should have done it over here as well. Gabriel's a nice kid though, although he looks more like me and Andrea the rich!! Congrats to Si as well for 2nd kyu, would have been 1st if he'd paid his fair shar of the curry last night, or was that Richard!!!
I did over in the off topic forum. He did find you very amusing though it has to be said. Yes well done Si.
I'd love to do kendo. Do they teach that at your heijoshin dojo place? if its just learning to be fancy with sword katas then i wouldnt be interested, but if its more like fighting properly with shinai, then i would like to go. the nearest kendo place is in small heath...which is way too far for someone who cant drive
Nope it's Iai and Kenjutsu Go off and read, do some research then come back and apologise :woo: How do you fight properly with a Shinai? Also think about it in Kendo you hit where there is protection yet in Koryu and in the Bujnkan you are taught to cut where there is none. Kendo certainly has its place and value but I think you’ll find it’s not usually approached as being training for “teh r34l fighting” Small Heath? I think that's Nagamitsu it’s supposed to be a very good Dojo.
dont taunt me i really want to try it out, but theres no chance of me getting there....and to make it even worse, the laws are changing...i wont be able to drive till i'm 18
and whats that? you mean like there is a set course u have to attend from the start? meaning u cant join in at any time?
