Hey, I'd come to the shoot and even wear a bikini. All I need is a ticket, cheap hotel room and a bucket of fried chicken.

Now if you want me to shave the beard that will cost extra.

What about Glima (Icelandic wrestling) from what I have read it seems pretty legit and would be classed as a Viking MA.

    Osu!

Stav is a norwegian hippie that did some eastern staff stuff, then started reading about the FUTHARK (norse alphabet-system, and adaption from the Latin alphabet, probably invented by Norse auxiliari in Roman service when they returned home after end of service).

After reading about the runes, he made up some new-age-philophosy about the runes having different forces, representing different virtues, then had a theory that vikings used theese forces and virtues when they trained martial arts.

Stav in it self isn't a fraud, it's a 30 year old new-age/neo-pagan belief-system, with some asian staff-stuff added into it. The fraud aspect is trying to sell it as a Viking martial arts:bang:

Glima is a legit. system, yes. A swede, named Lars Enoksen have written a book about it, and it is the closest thing to a viking system that we have. He has constructed a plausible theory about how the viking version of glima might have been, based on his research, but it is still a big difference between Glima and later medieval sword-systems from europe (like Talhoffer, Fiore, Ringeck, etc), as those manuals are written in the time-period, and reconstructions from the manuals have a bigger chanse of representing the art as it was taught in the medieval times. Enoksens theory about how the viking version of Glima was have resluted in a very funny sport, that scandinavian reenactos have embraced, and who is popular with audience, but doesn't really have that much in common with the icelandic traditional glima, that is based on written sources dating back to the 16th century. The word "glima" is found in icelandic sagas that were written down in the 11th, 12th and 13th centuries, but they don't go into detail on how the system really was; we can only speculate how it was, based on studying the much later icelandic sport and the sagas where Glima is mentioned. Enoksens theory is that traditional icelandic glima (as shown in the vid. above) represents one style of Glima, called "Loose holds" (as opposed to "Firm holds", and its the "Firm holds"-that Enoksen have tried to reconstruct.

To call it a Viking MA is to stretch it a bit, though, we have no technical details about how Glima was fought in the viking-age, but it's plausible to say that the vikings did call some sort of wrestling "Glima" It's a bit like saying that modern sport-karate is the art of the Samurai, or somthing.
