Very Crazy Self Defense Question

Ok this is crazy.

After watching the Texas Chainsaw Massacre far too many times, I'm wondering how would one defend themselves against a chainsaw?

Could you disarm it?
How would you avoid getting cut?
Is it just best to run for your life?

Any opinion will do.

Moving out of the way would be my first thought..

I guess something simmilar to defending against a sword, whatever that would be.

 

Keep as many things as possible between you and the person with the saw. Throw things at them from a distance. Run.

 

A bigger chainsaw or a gun. Would a tank be overkill?

A helicopter. Maybe a submarine, depending on location.

If you want to go really high tech, one of those EMP pulse things they used on The Matrix.

 

Na, that would not work, chainsaw is diesel/petrol powered, I think.

I reckon your better off with a chi blast.

 

Don't run in slow motion. Don't scream for extended periods of time.

 

A BFG9000 does the trick. Also handy for sorting out Cyberdemons.

perhaps we've all forgotten the glory of the ultimate weapon.....

The best advice if someone is attacking you with a chainsaw?

RUN THE F**K AWAY!

 

Chainsaw defense? That's easy. Just shoot them with your Glock.

As others have said, the most sensible thing to do is get out of the way. Seriously. I personally wouldn't stand there long....
