Upcoming absence from training

    I've been at sea for a month and a half, and things have been pretty good training-wise.

    I do cardio on an elliptical every evening. I take strength & conditioning classes in the hot sun three times a week. A handful of us gather for martial arts training a few times a week. We train for about two hours on mats on the flight deck. We usually grapple, followed by striking drills, finished off with jump-rope.

    I've been focusing on other aspects of self-improvement such as studying and meditation.
