Hello. All this morning I read the fitness threads and i really don't know where to start how to do my routine.I want everything to be perfect and strict I think this is the problem.I'm really confused about this! Another problem is that I discovered that I have in my ... physical activity a lot of mistakes, thanks for my coach, but that's another problem.I know it's very stupid to request a physical activity program...or not?But please, give me some advices how to start, where?I really want to improve myself By the way if it counts I'm 16 Thanks!
I'm already in a club.But my coach isn't to good.This is why I have a problem to do a program,a good one.
What sort of gains do you want for your training? You'll need to chat with Coma, Frodo etc: as they are the experts here. They'll be along later no doubt
Well my main expectation from the training is strenght, stamina, and flexibility,I think this is all what a fighter can request. The problem is what exercises I should do and how to order themTo have a good combination... Thank you!
For strength gain you need to be doing either weightlifting, with heavy weights and low reps, or bodyweight exercises that are challenging - not multiple rep push ups. For stamina you should be looking and conditioning work, sprinting, interval training and some longer duration stuff as well. Flexibility is going to be helped by strength work and doing dynamic and static stretching. What equipment do you have access to? How much time do you have for training, how much time do you spend doing martial arts and what sort of stuff do you do in class? Start with having a look through the following threads, they should give you an idea of the sort of things you need to be thinking about: http://www.martialartsplanet.com/forums/showthread.php?t=85373 http://www.martialartsplanet.com/forums/showthread.php?t=71400 http://www.martialartsplanet.com/forums/showthread.php?t=100359 http://www.martialartsplanet.com/forums/showthread.php?t=96790 Spend some time reading through the health and fitness section in general. There's loads of information about training methods in there. You will also need to start thinking a bit more carefully about your diet.
Thank you very much for the response.Well I have some fitness equipements like 2 dumbells 10 kg each (20 pouncds,i think),a roller wheel for the abs,a gripper for the forearm, and an extensor. If I want I have a bar for pull-ups tooFor my personal training I have about 1h - 2h.At the training we do often at the begining some running, then stretch but not dinamique,we do static-active.We often hit the ... blades(dont know if it's correct said ) and at the end some strenght and endurance exercises. Thank you!
