Osu All... I am currently living in NY but wish to leave. I do not know where to yet but am going to move to a place where I can find a top rated instructor in which I may train under in the art of Kendo. I have some background in Kyokushin Karate so I know hard work and determination already. Does anyone know who would be a good choice of teacher for me? I am looking for strict and traditional, a teacher who will spend the time to help perfect my form and ability. If I can find a dojo looking for a live in uchideshi that would be the most perfect situation I believe. Any ideas? I am moving in order to seek out the true meaning of the martial way, and will NOT accept failure from myself!! :star::star::star::star::star:
Hmmm, the only instructor I know who can offer you what you want - AND the opportunity to be his uchideshi - is this guy. However, a little too strict his teaching you may find. Oh, and this is the koryu bujutsu section. Try posting in Weapon Arts instead.
