I keep spraining the same toe of one foot in training somehow by bending it forward (not back) hard so that the top (where the nail is) goes red/purple.

Is there some kind of bandage or support I can use that will stay on and support it?

Silly question but do you mean that the nail/top of the toe goes red or are you talking about the joint itself? It sounds like you are saying that you are pushing the toe so that the pad is pushed closer to the sole and then the toe goes red/purple. Does it swell? Does it get hot?

I just asked because it sort of sounds like you are talking about black toe sort of issues that you see in runners when they repeatedly hit their toes inside their trainers. Can you be a bit clearer as to what is happening and I might be able to give you some suggestions :' D
