Hi all, Just to invite you all to the Combat Champions League. It's run on Freestyle rules but is open to all so let's see more TKD people (the KKAW already attend as well as the odd TAGB) come and demonstrate their skills. The atmosphere is great, there are no egos and the emphasis is on fun and sportsmanship.
Hi Matt, although it gives details of when the events are, it doesn't really say anything about them, rules, equipment etc. Do you know if there's a page with more detail on somewhere?
Hi Liam Rules for points are based on WAKO so basically; 1 point punch to anywhere 1 point kick to body 2 points kick to head Sweeps are allowed but only down at foot/ankle level. There are a lot of very good kickers in this but it would be nice to see some TKD people getting some nice axe kicks in
Sounds like fun Matt, but it's a bit far from Nashville, TN in the good ol' US of A. Perhaps you could grab some video of the event for us deprived folks on this side of the Atlantic?
