I have a bit of pain and tightness in my upper back from break fall rolling. I will get my trainers to review my technique more closely but anyone got any advice for reducing pain and tightness?

Currently using Deep Heat and it's not bad. Any other suggestions?

Deep massage. That's what I got. Actually hurts getting it done but afterwards it feels amazing!

Hard to put onto your own upper back. only really usefull as an extra to oral ibuprofen, 3 days of 400mg three times a day sorts anything not requiring medical intervention out next nicely.

    I agree with Fusen.

Use the gel if you have a stomach sensitivity to ibuprofen. Some people take it because they're worried about long term effects of pills, but ibuprofen is never a long term solution. Ideally you should be looking to correct faults in your posture and movement, or seek a doctor's advice to determine other underlying causes.

What should I be cupping? and does massage at the same time help?

Cupping would be on your back and it would need to be done by a trained TCM person and generally a massage is not done at the same time

Perhaps the OP does not have a person that can help/assist

I suggest going to a Dr
