I just saw The Transporter, my first movie in a while, and a couple of fight scenes grabbed my attention and made me remember the wise words of Pesilat: In the first, the hero is being attacked by multiple assailants, one of whom grabbed his jacket. He shrugged it off and entangled one or two of them in it, in an intricate but purposeful-looking knot, and continued the fight bare-chested to the apparent delight of most ladies present.

Later in the same fight, he emptied a bin of oil all over the floor and himself (to another accompanying chorus of cheers from the ladies, and one or two guys  ), and started fighting using some very low stances which included three or four points of contact with the ground.

So, was this Cipecut and Harimau? Or just another odd cinematic coincidence?
