I would say that Sumo strikes me as one of the more exotic styles in MMA. Lyoto Machida lists it as one of his styles. Capoeira would be another one that has been listed as a style by several, but no one as successful as Machida. Not that I can recall anyways. As for that list, a lot of those are just made up by one person and never carried forward. Not really bona fide styles, IMO.
That's what I thought. Just because one fighter writes it down in his applications on the line "what do you train" (so to speak), doesn't make it a style.
