It is with great regret that I have to inform everyone that fellow MAP member Greg Palmer (MAP nickname - Keikai) passed away sometime last week. Greg had some heart related problems and they finally took their toll. He had a very good reputation in Australian budo circles. He will be missed. R.I.P.
I Am Not Dead Do not stand at my grave and weep; I am not there. I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow; I am diamond glints of snow; I am the sunlight on ripened grain; I am the gentle autumn's rain. When you awaken in the morning's hush; I am the swift uplifting rush of quiet birds encircled flight. I am the soft star that shines at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry; I am not there, I did not die. Be at peace.
A very sad loss to MAP and tsutsumi ryu ju jutsu. Rest in peace Greg...many thanks for your always valuable insights to ju jutsu and the martial arts. You will be missed.
Greg Palmer was known as Keikai-Tsutsumi. He was incredibly generous with his time and was known by all for his dedication to his students and his willingness to give up his time to help them in their jujutsu expecting nothing in return. He had a true love for his jujutsu and will be sadly missed by many. Dao
