Karate Masters Let us not forget the Shotokai master Harada Sensei.also Kimura and Nanbu Senseis. These men inspired a generation of Karate students. Asano Sensei also rates a mention.I am not too sure if there are video clips of these men. My own favourite was the late great master Nishiyama Sensei. His book on Karate is still a masterpiece.
From 25 seconds onwards he's beating up sensei Terry O'Neill - there's something you don't see every day.
Kanazawa/Tery Oneill vid Unless I am mistaken anyone can see that this video is a demo from Kanazawa Sensei And Terry O'Neill Sensei .It appears to me that what is being demonstrated here are various practical applications of potential counter attacks with Kanazawa Sensei taking the role of Tori. Mr O' Neill is the Uke , he is not competing with Kanazawa Sensei .If indeed this is the case I hardly think that anybody could state that Mr O'Neill is being beat up.

HOLY <BEEP> just seeing him doing kihon is terrifying. *proceeds to rip the videos and watch them at quarter-speed* [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sA-yjNjHMqc&feature=related"]YouTube- Kururunfa - Ikemiyagi Masaki[/ame] here he is doing kururunfa in 82. i know people who would be horrified at how his technique looks. i simply consider getting hit by one of those techniques and get scared.

And actually, regarding his kihon if you really look at it you can see a lot of really amazing things about it. It's a very different way of doing the "normal" kihon.
Found another good video of Shinzato Sensei demonstrating his hip movement during techniques: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eNhzDwQS4z8&feature=related"]YouTube- 新里å‹å½¦ã€€æ²–縄空手é“ æ¾æž—æµã€€å–œèˆŽå ´å¡¾ã€€æ•ä¸ƒæ®µã€€æ£æ‹³çªãを極ã‚ã‚‹[/ame]

Great find Fish. I really enjoyed that. I can also see where one of my sensei got some of his uke ideas from, especially for gedan barai. Nice demo of sensen no sen as well.
Awesome video!!! I really like watching Kagawa Sensei. How someone that big and strong can be so fast and flexible is beyond me.
