I'd say one of the best kickers is Jose Aldo. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tbSbeR0PsH4"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tbSbeR0PsH4[/ame] I rate someone that can land kicks in an environment that doesn't favour them (MMA) far more than someone that can land them in an environment that encourages them (ITF or WTF TKD). The timing and back up skills needed to land like he did on Uriah Faber are far more in-depth and complex than what you see in even the Olympics or any amount of XMA.
Man, first time I see this gentleman. He is really scary!! What power behind each blow! His kicks seemed even more powerful than Buakaw's..
His destruction of Faber's leg was both horrible and fascinating at the same time. The after photos look like Faber had been run over.

I like Edson Barbozas style. It's something like: Barboza: I'm gonna jab you in the face.... psych! /Seriously painful leg kick Barboza: I'm gonna grapple you... Psych! /Devastating leg kick Barboza: Okay Bro, I was just kidding, I ain't gonna kick you anymore.... Psych! /Leg kick of death.
By that logic, JDS is a better puncher than Cassius Clay, or Mike Tyson. I'm just playing devils advocate here, I actually agree with your original statement.
In some ways...yes...yes he is. Now clearly he's not a better boxer. But he's probably better at applying his punching skills across a wider array of situations and scenarios and against a wider array of defensive barriers or counters. I'd view a winning biathlon competitor as a "better" shooter than a regular shooter. There are people that can handle and juggle a football better than Lionel Messi. But they'd fall apart with the added pressure of actual game play.
I've been a big fan of Tim man for a while now. I really enjoy his style, and his videos are very inspirational to me. Is he the best kicker in the world? I dont know. But he does have some of the best looking kicks ive seen.
