There are a few classical jujutsu & Kenjutsu dojo that still teach tessen, but it's usually an auxilliary weapon learned way after ken, bo, jo & chained weapons.

You won't find many dojo in the west teaching authentic tessenjutsu techniques or kata.

I can give some characteristics if you are interested.

Tessenjutsu techniques depend on the methodology of the classical ryuha teaching. Some will incorporate the weapon like a kodachi, since some tessenjutsu kata have the practicioner up against a swordsman. The tessen can then be utilized to increase the efective power of atemi and kansetsu waza.

Tessenjutsu kata are most commonly used against swordsmen who are either cutting or drawing at you or against an unarmed assailant grabbing or striking at you.
