Nay. No basil, no pesto. Now you have the recipe so you can eat salsa verde with your cereals while doing the split. Isn't it wonderful?
 :jawdrop: :jester: Clearly I have not got my thinking cap on tonight! I have a serious one. Could you help me stretch my middle leg? It's just so short and stumpy all the time, I can barely make a tripod and it's terrible for kicking with  LOL, I kid. Seriously though, my inside hips keep tightening up quite badly at the moment. If memory serves me correctly, it's the bit with the other bit called the anterior portal? EDIT: Where the red bits are, but on the inside, not the outside: When I try to practice large numbers of mae geri and mawashi geri (or some days just a few) that area goes severely tight and I get to the point I can barely lift my leg. Got any gentle exercises I can use to help loosen them up again? I do try and sit like a fat buddha, but that doesn't always work :dunno:
Haha, I googled the image up, that was one of the first ones to come up, so I used it I couldn't really find a better picture than that. The pain is nearly entirely in the ligaments rather than the socket, but occasionally the sockety area doesn't exactly feel wonderful either. Or maybe I'm secretly so jealous of his demi-god flexibility that I wanted to impress him  Well that's alright then, glad it's not me :jester:
I'm hopeless when it comes to flexibility but I've recently seen a physio due to a pulled muscle on the inside of my thighs. Turned out that I had shockingly bad flexibility on the outside of my hips which caused me to overcompensate with that muscle. She had me doing exercises that stretched the outside of my hip, like getting down on hands and knees, crossing one leg behind the other and pushing it right back. Or standing with one foot crossed behind the other and pushing out with the hip of the back leg. As well as massaging the painful tendons these seemed to help me.
Boards, I never realised until now that you are so HOT! Actually, I never realised until now that you are female.
