    Hi
Here’s a clip showing the standard approach used in BJJ

The technique for doing the roll over is really important to study I think, particularly if the opponent is adjusting their weight &/or has any idea what they are doing
PS - Not sure why these are in the disabled martial arts threads

    Here's the GA version:

In related news, there must be a lot of poor quality instructors trying to earn an unhonest buck nowadays via YouTube.

This video little poor for few points
and also i said in the beginning i like to see people criticize when they put their own video and opinion
not just copy ad past without thinking or testing the moves

You've just copied someone else's video, many of your talking points are the same, just phrased and ordered differently.

I get your trying to grow your channel, but really Facebook and Twitter will do that far more effectively then posting on MAP.

The threat is immobility, headbutts biting/ and perhaps the bringing of a weapon to bear.

If it's the women's self defence context these are all valid considerations.

Ps I don't think the OP will.of thought of that, he's just copied a well known video, without even learning how to bridge properly.

Yep that's poor level BJJ headlocks escapes, I'm guessing dvd trained, using his karate students to train on.

    Hi
Actually the technique is pretty valid for a free fight
1 - Hugging the torso prevents your opponent getting posture back & being able to strike effectively
2 - Trapping the arm is important, not only to prevent your opponent reaching out and basing on the floor to prevent the roll over, but also to prevent a lot of effective strike options
The main adjustment for a free fight is to control your opponent's hands after the reversal as your face is a little exposed until you can posture up
    Hope this helps
