My company is looking for someone to teach english full time in bando, which is 20 minutes from the hombu. they pay 250,000 yen a month. The schedule is normally public school time, which frees you up evenings and weekends. Email me if you are interested.
Do they include anything else, besides pay? Copayment/cosign for housing, extra lessons in something (be it language, ma, etc), any insurance, and what sort of contract is it? What are the requirements, and who would you be teaching (age, level)?
They gave me some housing relocation money when I joined their company. There are many japanese language courses that are free or cheap and they can help. They do offer insurance or you can sign up with the national health. The contract is for one year april to april. I think you'll need a four year degree and be a native speaker of english. Probably you'll be teaching at a junior high school.
