Teachers drop the Holocaust to avoid offending Muslims

I'm glad someone picked up on that. Many Arabs and Jews have a whole lot in common. At many times in history they've lived in peace together... not that you'd ever hear that with the fearmongering news that gets put on the air. It's a damn shame that the state of affairs between the Arabs and the Jews is what it is today.

 

I think it's fair to say that Jews in Muslim countries (including Arab countries) suffered far less persecution than they did in Christian countries, up until the start of the conflicts between Israel and it's Arab neighbours.

 

I would suggest that it is because Jewry has made a conscious effort to brand and market it's own suffering.

Like any product, it must be positively and recognizably differentiated from other brands on the market.

 

sigh... I want to respond but man it just isn't worth it.
