    HI all,

At what point do you start to teach the above?

I've started at white belt as Sajo Jirugi and Chon Ji are absolutely brilliant for takedowns, chokes, double factor blocking, elbows, knees the list goes on and I love it! :)

    Cheers

We teach some of the basic techniques that go into those at white belt, but offhand, we usually introduce sweeps and takedowns at yellow belt level and throws around green belt. Before getting into them, we build up with practice falling and footwork set up and so on.

I personally love these techniques as well!

Sajo 1 Chonji are so good for giving students a really good arsenal of simple but effective techniques and getting them use to thinking beyond the 'punch and block' mentality.
