I'm here The name is not the thing. If you MUST differentiate & pigeon hole then his definaitions are as good as any others.
"Submission Grappling" and "Submission Wrestling" are the same thing. They are just blanket terms for grappling when submissions are allowed (as opposed to something like Olympic Greco Roman Wrestling). The Submission League, Catch Wrestling comps, NAGA, Pro Ams, ADCC etc etc are all Submission Grappling/Submission Wrestling. Differences only come about in the rules of the competitions. Any differences he claims between "Submission Grappling" and "Submission Wrestling" are just his opinion. For example, he claims "Submission Wrestling" has pins right? Well, the ADCC World Submission Wrestling Championships doesn't. Like I said, IMO the only difference is the rules of the competitions. Nathan
