    mostly hits with forearms...
wrists are used more to parry and boost power...
there are some wrist strikes ...but they are more like taps to stun the opponent of to hit vital areas...not KO hits.
we have hits like... parry with lead hand and then immediately strike the nose with the wrist [same hand] ...then you come in with a KO punch or smack
Any hard hit with the wrist can damage it .. so its not the best idea :D

Some awesome thread necromancy going on around here. :)

Anyway, the only wrist strike I know of in CLF is the crane's beak, which is meant for soft targets. There are probably more, my knowledge is severely limited.

I was taking a Ninjitsu class and fleeing an attacker you look back at him and a good strike is a crane wrist - lifting your arm and sending your wrist under his chin . You can’t punch while running away from someone

If you can (and are) out running an attacker...why would you then engage?

12 years? That can't be right, 2007 was, like 3 years ago...? Oh.

Definitely looks like someone got a necronomicon out for this one ;)

I can't think of a single advantage to striking with the wrist. Why would you?
