Sticking with MAP....how much life will you sacrifice?

This goes out to all the people who post things on MAP on a regular basis.

How long have you been a member of MAP, and how long do you plan on sticking around?


I haven't been with MAP for very long, but I do admit I enjoy it. I find many of the people here either entertaining, helpful, psychotic, or all of the above.

I plan to stick with MAP, at least throughout my college experience. I really hope certain members stick around, and I expect I will have a lot more to offer as time goes by.

 

Did you not read the bit in the small print about "never leaving" ? Uh oh!

 

Ive been a member for 3yrs now, and dont see that ending anytime soon.

 

Leave? Longest I've been away from the site since I joined was a week when I went on holls!

Been here at least 5 hours a day since December 2003 working on random things like the various upgrades we never get round to doing...

 

The more aprorpriate question would be: "how long till they ban me?".

 

I have had a few weeks off while i haven't been training, and getting my life in order to get through uni. But now i'm back with avengence and the couple of weeks lowered my post count to less than 10!
I plan to be here as long as I train.

 

Almost 3 years now, I'm eligible for parole in another 5 so long as I'm good.

I'm gonna hang around. While my studies of martial arts is less active now, I believe I can still contribute and will do so for a while yet!

 

I must've joined just after Sarge. I used to MAP religiously throughout university (it was my home page on the uni computer, so it was the first thing I saw when I loaded my browser).

My posting has tailed off a bit now, unfortunately, due to having a 9-5 job.

I don't see myself ever "leaving" as I genuinely like a lot of the people here and enjoy talking with them. I think opportunity might be the only mediating factor.

I waste time at work posting on MAP, but I post at home a lil' bit. Whenever I figure out a way to make money without having to be at work from 9 to 5, I'll probably post alot less.

Hmm, I sacrifice a fair bit of my time to the internet, and while I can contribute to MAP, I will!
There's some great people here.

 

I could be talking, playing a game, or generally enjoying the company of that lovely man I plan to spend the rest of my life with. I could be corresponding with my excellent friend back in the US who I never talk to any more. I could be sleeping or taking a bath.

Instead, I'm posting semi-anonymously with a bunch of strangers.

It doesn't make sense, does it? Can anyone explain why I love MAP so much?
