Considering how freakishly strong you are compared to the rest of us mere mortals I've got to ask - having a light day?

    i have no arms. lol.

But yeah. friday is "jacked and tanned day" which is basically biceps, rear delts and maybe some shrugs jus to balance out everything else i do, takes 20 mins or so and flushes the blood through.

What're you curling like? you'll notice i tastefull avoid having my arms in any photo's haha

had a national power lifter play with my bench today and play with form and technique.

Tried to take in what he was saying but it didnt feel right to me. ended up hitting about 18 singles with 100kg. i got pretty frustrated with the fact i cant bench.

But apparently absurdly strong lats :p.

Wobbly from day to day, but then my body is a troll. I've had days I've strict curled 45kg with the EZ curl bar but that was a little while ago. Most days I hover around 35 - 40kg keeping it strict though I don't do them too often. Hammer curls with dumbbells I can do 23kg quite comfortably though for a fair amount of volume.

What was he suggesting that didn't feel right to you?

    Thats a strong curl.

everything felt weird, he was playing with bar path and set up etc. cant help but wonder if my set up should be different because of my hight and the fact all my pressing strength is in my delts and tri's....

    going to keep playing anyway.

    also, i have zero arms.

Haha for sure. I feel like log press will be a good movement to play with.

    Sunday

    High bar squat
Warming up with high bar is my new favourite thing, really loosens the legs off.
    Bar x 10
    60kg x3
    90kg x3
    110kg x3
    125kg x2
    135kg x1
    145jg x1
If I'd done more it wouldn't have been fast and thus not a warm up.

    Deadlift.
    60kg x10
    110kg x 2
    150kg x2
    170kg x 1
    200kg x1 loose belt
    210kg x 3 singles in belt.

    Double overhand axle deads.
    140kg 5x3

    Hanging leg raises
3x10 in half pull up position

    Axle rows
    3x10 with 60kg

    Pinch grip stuff.

and obviously when i said pull to the floor i meant from the floor, as in a full deadlift
so pull the bar to the knee, hold for a sec, let go grab bar do a ful deadlift

    slothy,

paused squat is just a squat but you pause at the bottom to remove any stretch refex or "bounce" really good dot staying tight, improving power out the hole and working o form. I'm hoping it'll have carry over to my deadlift too. I'm obviously not going to just stop squatting till the meet but i figure paused work (for power) and volume work (to develop the actual muscles) is going to be better than acting like i'm going to squat at the meet, when i'm not.

That it is fishy, that it is.

    light day

    bench
waves. 5 reps, add eight, 3 reps add weight 1 rep add weight. that one set.
    80-90-100
    85-95-100
    80-90-100

    10-20 facepulls between each 'wave'

    pendlay rows with axle
    4x8 @ 70kg

    axle deadlift
140kg 5x3 managed the first 4 sets double overhand, had to mix the 5th when i dropped the first rep. when i mixed i mixed the opposit way i normally do.
    160kg x1
    190kg x1 felt easy.

fun, i feel fresh. 190 on an axle is good going, the lack of spinners and lack of bend make it just as hard as the thickness, think i'd be good for 210 if i went for it (which would defeat the point of having a 'light day' and using an axle)

not eaten close to enough today.

bench with the team. we spent like 3 hours benching, fun-ish but not something for everyday.

    60kg x3,3,
    80kg x 3,3,
    100kg x 1,1,1
