For a while now I've had a sore left shoulder. I think it's the muscle because it's sore to the touch, but only to the touch.

I noticed it a few weeks ago, when it was actually hurting a lot of the time. after about a week the pain went away and I felt fine. I could do all my karate stuff (inc conditioning and other exercises) with no problem and nothing hurt at the gym. In fact, I felt better for it all. Also, stretching it out helped.

It's a little sore again today, so I'm going to go to the doctor tomorrow, just to see what it is.

It's in a very localised area (the centre of the left shoulderblade). I think it might be to do with posture, as I am a chronic sloucher and have been trying to fix it lately. I also spend a fair bit of time at the computer on a crap chair with my monitor at an angle.

    Has anyone had anything similar?
