Some Points Video

  1. Yesterday was the IMA British Championships. They arent a big organization, but they do get a reasonable turnout for a British circuit.

They had the days tournament and that evening they removed the other arenas and had about 10 or so fights in the centre with the years top fighters in their categories for continuous and points. I was selected to fight in the Blackbelt for Points.

I fought in the days points and had a few fights and won Gold.

I lost by a point in the Finalists Fight though.

Anyway, we was up and around and me or friends or family were filming various fights.

I'm fighting in Black with a Gold trim and with long hair

    Here is:

[ame=]My Finalists fight against the other rated fighter. My girlfriend makes an appearance at the end of this video :D - Final Score - 6:7 -[/ame]

[ame=]My friend Damien fighting a continuous bout during the day [In white] [/ame]

I do fight continuous. I didnt want to risk an injury today though and kept to points. Should be fighting some continuous fights in 2 weeks and will post vids.

    Feedback welcome. And enjoy! :D

Why where you walking up and down like that on the mat in the first video?

Otherwise you're fast. I would love to see some videos of you doing continuous sparring.

Were you fighting as a TKD fighter that day or a kickboxer?

I thought it was hilarious watching that first guy walk into your side kick like 12 times.

Exactly what I was thinking. You would have though after the third or fourth he would've started considering some different angles or tactics!

I know! I was surprised when he went around it the one time.
  6. To keep focus. Point Fighting is all about being first off the mark really. I couldnt stand there staring at him as my concentration was slipping and I started looking at little details and things in the background. Notice how he had his concentration up, and then lost it, and then stood there like a lemon when the match actually began.

I quit Taekwon-Do about 6 months ago for Judo and Kickboxing.

And yeah some con videos will be coming soon.
