dacheng, you have 72 posts, every one promotes the selling of the same crap. You have not even put any real content into most of your posts other than links to youtube seminars or corispondance courses!! All of the crap you post is kind of average at best as well!
If you think so... If you want more 'real' content, you could ask questions. But if you think that yiquan is crap, well, then you don't need to watch any of it... There are people who like it though.
I'm not asking questions because im not interested. Looking at your post history, you have not answered any questions from anyone else, unless that question was "can you promote your group some more please?" no one is interested!
If you look through the clips I posted here, only some of them are about my group, and mostly it's clips from various yiquan schools and branches. So you mean that no one here is interested in yiquan or able to talk about it seriously?
And by the way, some time ago I posted links to clips in Polish, promising an article in English on the subject. The article is here: http://www.yiquan-academy.eu/readarticle.php?article_id=34

Ok dacheng, how about a little explanation of what we're seeing in that clip. For example, Is this purely and exercise to train explosiveness (fa li) ? I'll assume no, as there looks like theres's a technique there, right ? Can you say more about the technique - it looks like it could be used to attack a gaurd, break or make bridge and to enter to clinch range. The striking/ fa li in that clip doesn't look like they are meant for or useful for anything else ? That sort of info may be helpful here to accompany the procession of clips. Just a thought. People can be pretty lazy in this information day and age, I am when surfing - how about giving us a full plate of food.
Generally in all kinds of basic exercises we are working with some way of generating and applying force. One part is fa li, where explosiveness is especially stressed. At beginning it is a set of movements in various directions, at various angles with various parts of body. So this is about training the explosiveness, but there are some basic ways/basic forms of this practice, and you could call them techniques, because you learn examples of using such and such movement in some situations. But it is important to remember that you should not see them as only some specific technique, but something which is more flexible, adaptable, which can be used for various purposes, and can change into "different technique" with very small change. So we don't call them 'techniques' but 'fa lis'. This one fa li is called zheng pi fa li. This vertical splitting/chopping. Here we are working with applying power with the arm (in actual use could be palm, fist-"hammer" or downward elbow) mainly in downward direction. Could be used for attacking opponent's guard. Could be used for attacking opponent's face with palm or hammerfist just after your uppercut missed target. Very often used for attacking back of opponent's head, when he is off balance and bending forward. On this clip there is third level of zheng pi fa li. First level is mainly about learning the basic standard form and coordinating mind activity with movement. Second level is actually focusing on maximum power and explosiveness. Third level is about adaptability - swift changes - in this case mostly mixing it with varying footwork. But when people don't ask questions it's difficult to know which information would be needed. You might think that everything is clear and obvious for them.
